You know - it certainly sucks to have a computer stolen and your work destroyed, but - and maybe I'm just not getting VDB's sense of humor - the idea that the blog was the target of a high-powered conspiracy is completely nutty. Cyber-sabotage is certainly a real thing, but actual high-powered people have better things to do than worry about what some blogger is writing.
Politics Vermont is a totally fake blog produced by the Tarrant campaign. There was never a stolen laptop.
That was for verisimilitude, anonymous. They had to make it believable. :)
