CESU teachers agreed to health insurance increase

You heard it here first (unless you already heard it somewhere else, in which case you did not here it here first).

From the BFP:

Teachers will pay 11 percent of their health care premiums next year and 12 percent the following year. They currently pay 10 percent of the premiums, and had wanted to keep payments at that level for the life of the contract. The issue had been the main sticking point during the strike.

The 10% level has been penetrated and finally, we the people will start to see some sanity in the teachers' benefits packages that we are paying for.
