Take Action Burlington

Owen Mulligan, one of the driving forces behind the efforts to get the fluoride out of our tap water, has formed a new group in Burlington aimed at increasing voter turn-out.

Take Action Burlington, or TAB, is a non-partisan, non-profit organization promoting citizen engagement in politics through voter education, registration, and participation.

As a voter outreach group, TAB organizes voter registration drives along with follow-up phone calls and emails to make sure new voters have all the information they need to vote. TAB also offers free rides to the polls and non-partisan information about the candidates and ballot questions.

The website looks like an excellent resource with links to all information a voter might need. It is one of the few places where I have seen all of the candidates for office listed.

(And I am not plugging TAB just because She’s Right was included in on their links page.)
