The Kiss Countdown
Mayor-Elect Bob Kiss will be sworn in as Burlington's 35th Mayor on April 3 at 6 pm at City Hall. I thought it would be fun to have a little countdown meter to keep track of how much longer Clavelle will be in office.

I just noticed that there is something wrong with the counter. I think it is an hour off. I swear it is not my fault. I just checked it and it is set for 6:00PM on April 3, so it should be right.
Oh, well.
Don't worry about it. I'll instinctively know when Clavelle isn't mayor any more, my brain will suddenly be awash in a delightful sensation that is undoubtedly like that of one's first hit of crack cocaine.
Then I'll remember that the new guy actually had to be convinced not to try to simultaneously hold down another part-time job, and it will all go away.
Oh Hinda, relax a little. I'm sure even you voted for Kiss.
It all happened exactly as I expected.
